    Based on excellent research personnel and advanced technology, the Research Institute is constantly striving to develop new products and discover future growth engines with its mission to contribute to improving human eating habits. We expanded and remodeled the existing building in May 2020, which is currently equipped with the latest experimental equipment and pilot facilities and provides an optimal research environment, including approximately 10,000 volumes of professional data for active research activities.

  • Ottogi Food Safety Science Institute

    OTTOGI Food Safety Science Institute is the command center of food safety. We manage food safety at all stages, from production to delivery, and operate at the highest level in the country based on the five principles of food safety. OTTOGI Food Safety Science Institute is an international testing agency that is recognized by KOLAS for its public trust, and conducts research to manage hazardous substances, control microorganisms and improve nutritional value using our latest analysis equipment. It has been certified as a corporate affiliate research institute in 2023 and fulfills various roles, including external academic exchange, development of new testing methods and a win-win cooperation academy for partner companies. It also contributes to the development of food safety at home and abroad, progressing on our path to become a world-class research institute.

    KOLAS(Korea Laboratory Accreditation Scheme): A Korean accreditation organization that evaluates inspection, calibration, and testing in Korea according to the National Standards Act and ISO/IEC Guide, an international standard, to prove that they have capabilities and international public trust in a specific field.

  • Anyang Factory

    OTTOGI Anyang Factory, completed in June 1972, is the best cradle of the manufacturing of a variety of products such as jam, sauce, and convenience food, and the production base for commercial products such as products for McDonald's. It has continued to grow in line with OTTOGI's history, continuing the legend of Korea's food industry with constant development, and is currently producing about 700 types of products.

    OTTOGI Anyang Factory continues to maintain its reputation as a major production base for top-quality products beloved by customers.

  • Daepoong Factory

    128, Daepungsandan-ro, Daepung-ri, Daeso-myeon, Eumseong-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do 27670, Republic of Korea.

    Completed in 2001, Daepoong Factory is the largest factory in Korea and is a high-tech futuristic factory equipped with a smart factory system, energy management system, and electronic document management system.
    It received domestic and international system certificates, including HACCP and FSSC22000, for quality control to produce various types of food products safely and eco-friendly for consumers to eat with confidence.
    It produces 18 food types and 500 types of products, including curry, tomato ketchup, mayonnaise, convenient food, OTTOGI rice, vinegar, and rice, which are OTTOGI's representative products.
    By practicing ESG management and building various facilities to reduce greenhouse gases, Daepoong Factory is striving to establish OTTOGI as a global company with continuous research and development.

  • Samnam Factory

    149, Bangudae-ro, Banggi-ri, Samnam-myeon, Ulju-gun, Ulsan 44953, Republic of Korea.

    Samnam Factory was completed in June 1992. It is equipped with the latest automated production facilities to maximize production efficiency and is producing safe products through HACCP system management, developing OTTOGI's global quality competitiveness in the global market. It also serves as a base for producing products for export based on its geographical advantage; it is adjacent to Busan Port.

  • Poseung Factory

    Poseunggongdan-ro, Poeung-eup, Pyeongtaek-si, Gyenggi-do, Republic of Korea.

    Poseung Factory is OTTOGI's base factory on the West Coast to prepare for the West Coast era, specializing in the production of oil and fat products equipped with cutting-edge facilities for OTTOGI to expand into the world.

    Completed in December 2019, it is producing palm oil, soybean oil, cooking oil, shortening, and margarine.
